Heber Valley Airport History

Heber Valley Airport was activated in 1947 as a general aviation facility.

The airport is known for its support of gliders in the summer; over 15 gliders are based at the field, since the 1950's.

The runway was extended in 1992 and its buildings renovated. Heber Valley Airport also features the Heber Valley Air Museum, which opened in 2002.
