Dundee Airport History

Dundee Airport opened in 1963 and originally only had a 900m grass runway. In the 1970’s this was replaced with a 1,100m long tarmac runway, and was extended again to 1,400m in the 1990s.

There is a training facility and engineering workshop at the airport which is run by Tayside Aviation.
