Each year, PrivateFly runs a “Most Scenic Airport Landings Poll” to discover the most beautiful airport approach of the year. Last year’s top airports included beach runways, mountain-top airports and airports approaches across stunning city skylines.
This year, we asked a panel of expert judges from across the travel industry to nominate their favourite airport approaches for the airport poll. Meet this year's judges and see their picks:

He is considered an expert on UHNW luxury marketing and previously launched Elite Traveler building it to over $15 million in sales before selling his shares. He is co-author of "The Sky's the Limit: Marketing to the New Jet Set" and is working on his next book "Sales Superstars: Secrets of Selling to the Super Rich."

Lisa Grainger
Lisa Grainger is a freelance journalist and editor for publications from The Times (of which she is deputy editor of Luxx), Condé Nast Traveller and various specialist glossies, from Travel & Leisure to Robb Report (of which she is contributing travel editor). She has travelled around the world interviewing high-fliers from the supermodel Gisele to African dictators, sailed the Komodo islands by phinisi, been one of the first women to do the Cresta Run, and has explored vast tracts of Africa (the Sahara by camel, the white waters of the Zambezi Valley by canoe, and the Mozambique coast by dhow).
What she loves most in journalism is being thrown in the deep end: investigating subjects she knows nothing about. One week, she says, she might be investigating the potency of electro-magnetic therapy in Russia, and the next looking into the illegal baiting of leopard for big white hunters. Her first book, a compilation of African myths and legends entitled Stories Gogo Told Me, was published by Penguin, with all proceeds going to CAMFED, for the education of African girls.
