Private jet travel to Dubai
Dubai is well known as a luxury travel destination, with a high-glamour appeal. There's a wide choice of opulent hotels, award-winning restaurants and spas, adventure sports, and an array of shopping opportunities - from designer malls to traditional souks.
The winter months from October to April are particularly popular, when the fierce heat of summer has reduced and temperatures in the mid to high twenties are perfect for relaxing on the beach or for outdoor activities such as golf, balloon adventures or skydiving.
Business is also a key reason to fly to Dubai, especially with those in growth sectors such as property, entertainment and healthcare - alongside tourism, hospitality and other associated industries.
Private jets for flights to Dubai
As most private jet flights to Dubai originate from outside of the Middle East, it is usually larger long range or heavy jets that are used to make the trip from Northern Europe or Russia - such as a Challenger 605, Falcon 7X or Gulfstream G650.
However uniquely in the super-midsize category the Praetor 600, operated by our sister company Flexjet, has the range to fly nonstop to Dubai from London (or other European cities).
Private jet airports in Dubai
Dubai offers a choice of two airports for private jet travellers. Dubai International Airport (13km from the city centre) was previously the only airport choice for business aviation flights into Dubai.
However since 2014, Dubai World Central Airport (also known as Dubai Al Maktoum Airport) has been developing as an alternative private jet airport and is now a more popular option for many private jet travellers and crew. Both airports now offer great facilities for private jet travellers flying in or out of Dubai.
While Dubai World Central is further away from the city centre at 57km, driving times are not much different, as it has a faster road link with less congestion.
