Use the 'Flight Search' to find your required airfields - remember, private jets can use much smaller airports closer to your final destination. PrivateFly will display the range of aircraft that are capable of making your specified journey together with average market charter prices. After adding any specific requests, PrivateFly submits your flight to the open market. Travelling by private jet should be a seamless process from begining to end. Check-in times are purely airport related and not driven by your chartered aircraft operator. Indeed PrivateFly will ensure that your aircraft is ready 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time, just in case you wish to depart early. At most airports you should be easily airborne within 15 minutes of arriving at the airport.

On arriving at the airport, expect to be met by your Captain at the nominated meeting point. Again most airports now have private jet FBO's (Fixed Based Operations) which are effectively private jet passenger terminals. The nominated handling agent from the airport will guide you and your Captain directly to your aircraft. Many smaller airports will allow you to drive straight to the steps of your aircraft.

If your party are arriving separately, you may choose to either wait for them in the lounge or board the aircraft separately. Again the lounge facilities will depend on the airport. At the larger private jet hubs such as London City Airport and Paris Le Bourget, a high standard of concierge services are available. Ground transportation can also be arranged through the FBO - be it limousine services, valet parking or airport transfers.

Flight schedules and delays
PrivateFly's motto is 'no surprises'. Your private jet will land at least an hour and a half before your departure ensuring flexibility, should you wish to depart early. Unavoidably air traffic control can occasionally delay your private jet charter. In this case, PrivateFly will advise you in plenty of time, allowing you to plan ahead with minimal disruption to your onward journey.
VIP Lounges and waiting areas
Whilst airlines compete to have the finest first class lounges, private jet travel allows you to dispense with this requirement altogether. VIP Lounges are of course available at all private jet hubs but it is your choice whether or not to use them. With no waiting time, you may simply prefer to step straight on board your aircraft.
Seamless transfer to and from your Aircraft
At every airfield PrivateFly has a local representative handling agent or FBO (Fixed Based Operator) to take you to and from your aircraft. This may involve just a few steps if your car is permitted airside or at most, a 5 minute transfer in a MPV. With executive jet charter, there will be no delays at security, limitations on hand luggage or invasive body searches.

Once on-board your private jet you are in your own private space. PrivateFly aims to meet and exceed your expectations so please ensure you advise our team on your on-board requirements. The more you tell us, the more we can make the journey individual to your needs.

Comfort levels and facilities vary, depending on aircraft sizes and manufacturers. With smaller jets and turbo props, your cabin space will be limited but well designed. These types of aircraft do not generally have flight attendants but your crew will assist you when safely airborne. VIP catering is provided as standard on all our flights but expect standards to vary; this is largely dependant on your departure country. Small aircraft tend not to have food warming facilities but most medium jets and larger will have a well equipped galley capable of serving hot and cold menus. Should you have specific dietary requirements or indeed any specific requests about any detail of your flight, PrivateFly will arrange these in advance.

Only a small number of aircraft in the PrivateFly network do not have a toilet. All medium jets and larger aircraft have fully equipped bathrooms and some of our top end aircraft have luxury bedrooms and ensuite showers. Most private jet seats are able to be lowered to make almost "flat bed" position for optimal on-board comfort.
